SOLD. Sorry, this item has sold.

Art Deco platinum diamond engagement ring set with rhodolite garnet. This setting came to us without a centre stone and we set a beautiful deep purplish pinky garnet. We love the rich gem tone in the bright white of the platinum setting. The centre stone is round cut and is held in place by fishtail style triple claw prongs. Set into the shoulders of this ring are two round brilliant diamonds, one on each side. The accent diamonds are bead set leading to a fluted design setting which is engraved with a ridged design. Circa 1930s setting, modern garnet. Garnet is the birthstone for January.

Garnet: rhodolite garnet, a purplish red colour, round cut, approx 7.1mm, 1.5 carats.

Diamonds: 2, round brilliant cut, approx 0.13 carats together.

Stamped 10% Irid Plat. This ring is tested and assessed as the alloy of 90% Platinum and 10% Iridium, slight different to the modern British standard of 95% / 5%.

Size: UK - J 1/4; US - 5; EU - 15.6. This ring cannot be made any smaller. It can be sized up to M.5 / 6.5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 7.8 mm wide and stands 5.75 mm tall off the finger.
