Vintage emerald and diamond engagement ring. This early 20th century ring is set with a beautifully coloured emerald cut emerald between two old European cut diamonds. The emerald is a wonderful mossy green in colour. The gemstones are set into white claws which blend into the gems. The band is a classic yellow shank, D shape in profile. This ring sits low to the finger. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Emerald: emerald cut, approx 6.85 mm by 4.9 mm and estimated in setting as 0.80 carats.

Diamonds: 2, old European cut, approx 3.25 mm each for a total of 0.28 carats, H / I colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped rubbed, tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - L 1/2; US - 6 1/8; EU - 16.6. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 and P.5 / 8. Sizing available for an additional fee.
