Antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring. A beautiful vivid blue sapphire is square in shape, step cut and bezel set with eight old cut diamonds haloing it. The diamonds are bead set with a row of milgrain beading to the outer edge of the top of the ring. The gemstones are set into a white top on a narrow yellow band. Circa 1900 - 1910, likely British in origin.

Sapphire: bright royal blue square step cut, approx 3.2 mm.

Diamonds: 8, old cut, estimated in setting as 0.18 carats total weight.

Not hallmarked, tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - P 1/2; US - 8; EU - 18.1. This ring can be sized down to M / 6.25 and is not recommended for sizing larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 9 mm by 8.5 mm on top and stands 3.8 mm tall off the finger.
