Antique lover's knot ring dating to the Edwardian period. This ring is crafted as two intertwined knots. One knot is wonderfully engraved and in constrast the other knot is simply polished and shiny. The two knots are tied together in a design which goes up the finger. The gold wires are soldered together at the back but remain two individual wires with a groove between them. This is a particularly lovely example. Circa 1900s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Chester, date letter for 1901. Because the split design goes all the way around the band the hallmarks run over the edge a bit.

Size: UK - Q; US - 8 1/4; EU - 18.3. Sizing 2 UK sizes, 1 US size larger or smaller available for an additional fee. Further resizing may be possible without disrupting the hallmarks, please enquire.

Measures approx 9.7 mm wide tapering to 2.9 mm at back, stands 2.6 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 4.75 grams.
