Pretty mid 20th century diamond engagement ring in 14 carat white gold. Set in the centre of a square shaped setting is a round brilliant cut diamond. The keystone diamond is set in four claws in a wider illusion style setting. The setting serves to protect the centre diamond as well as give the illusion of it being larger than it is. Set into each of the shoulders are two single cut diamonds. The shoulders are designed as a pointed, tapered shape with the diamonds set close together in the widest part. Circa 1940s, North American in origin.

Diamonds: centre measures approx 4.4 mm and is calculated in setting as 0.33 carats, J colour, SI clarity. 4 single cut accent diamonds total approx eight cut accent diamonds total approx 0.12 carats.

Stamped 14k, tested and assessed as 14 carat white gold.
