Three stone diamond engagement ring. This classic three stone diamond ring is graduated with the largest diamond in the centre flanked by two slightly smaller diamonds. Each of the diamonds is set in tiny sets of double claw prongs. I must admit, I love this style! It's simple and easy to wear but with the diamonds curving around the finger it's a bit more sparkly than a single stone ring. The diamonds are set in white gold claws with the tapered shank in yellow gold. Circa mid 1990s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 3, round brilliant. Approx 3.9 mm, 0.20 carats; 3.35 mm, 0.15 carats, and 3.35 mm, 0.15 carats. Total as calculated within the limits of the setting is 0.50 carats, I colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Sheffield, 1996.
