Beautiful asymmetrically designed diamond ring dating to the Art Nouveau period. Six pave set old European cut diamonds are pave set in a row across the finger. The rectangular shape that they are set is lined in milgrain beading adding a bit of extra sparkle. On the top and bottom is a curved gold arching design terminating at a single bezel set old European cut diamond. This asymmetrical design is particularly pleasing on the hand. Circa 1915, British in origin.
Diamonds: 8, old European cut, approx 0.35 carats total weight, H - J colour, VS clarity.
Marks faded and worn, the diamonds are set into a platinum top and the rest of this ring is 18 carat yellow gold.
Size: UK - N; US - 6 3/4; EU - 17.2. This ring can be sized down to L / 5.75 or up several sizes. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 8.85 mm wide by 13.65 mm across and rises 2.9 mm tall off the finger.
