Art deco diamond and lab created ruby ring. The centre synthetic ruby is a beautiful bright blood red in colour and is bezel set. It's perfectly framed by eight bead set diamonds. Eight diamonds are bead set around the centre stone with each in a bold pointed shape which dips between the diamonds. The gemstone set top is mounted on a slender tapered band which widens into a D profile at the back. Circa 1930s, British in origin.
Ruby: synthetic, this is a lab made ruby. It has the same properties as an earth mined ruby but was created in a lab! Square shape, step cut, approx 3.75 mm.
Diamonds: 8, approx 0.15 carats total weight.
Stamped PLAT, rest of stamped has rubbed. Tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - N 1/2; US - 7; EU - 17 1/4. This ring can be sized between L / 5.75 and R / 8.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 11.1 mm square and stand 5.3 mm tall off the finger.
