Art Deco ruby and diamond engagement ring. Set in the centre is a pretty deep dark red ruby cut in an oval shape. Set on either side of the ruby is a single eight cut diamond. The top of this ring is beautiful in shape with the ruby set in a diamond shape and three pointed geometric shapes holding the diamonds. The edge of the top is lined in milgrain beading and the gemstones are set in a platinum top with a yellow gold band. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Ruby: oval cut, deep red, approx 3.5 mm by 3.1 mm. Shows some signs of facet wear until magnification.

Diamonds: 2, eight cut / single cut, approx 0.04 carats together.

Marked 18ct & Plat. This ring is mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the top in platinum.

Size: UK - I; US - 4 1/3; EU - 15.2. This ring cannot be made any smaller. It can be sized up to M / 6.25. Sizing larger available for an additional fee.

Measures 6.7 mm by 14 mm on top and stands 3.35 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 1.85 grams.
