Platinum women's Art Deco wedding ring with engraved wreath design. This narrow band features a floral style wreath design on the outside. The pattern is simple and repeating and is in the middle of the band with a small textured detail to the top and bottom. The profile is slightly domed with flat sides and the inside is court or comfort fit, which means it's slightly rounded to better fit the finger. Inside is a partial inscription for the original owner and it reads, "John to Betty 3-9", the rest has been rubbed out or removed. This ring dates to the Art Deco era.

Marked to the inside for the maker A&W, for Alabaster & Wilson, English jewellers since the 1880s.

Marked for Platinum, 97%. The modern standard for British platinum is 95% platinum. Rather unusually this ring has been made and stamped as containing a higher content of platinum.

Size: UK - O; US - 7 1/4; EU - 55. This ring has been resized well before which can be seen in the photos.

Measures 1.95 mm wide and rises 1.35 mm tall.

Weighs 2.7 grams.
