Beautiful Art Deco diamond engagement ring. Three diamonds are claw set in an engraved eye catching platinum topped illusion setting. The setting is a stunning example of the beautiful work that jewellers were doing in the early to mid 20th century. The shoulders are carved with faceted beads which are made to appear as though there are additional diamonds set down the mounting. Around the tapered shoulder is a very fine line of milgrain beading. The yellow gold band is half round in shape with a curved outside and flat interior. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 3, single cut, approx 0.05 carats total weight.

Stamped 18ct Plat, tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
