Old European cut diamond solitaire engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. A beautiful diamond is set into a square shaped setting. This style of setting, popular during the 1920s and 1930s, is very pleasing to the eye. The shape is delicate and fine yet straight edged. The diamond set shoulders follow this same style with three diamonds on each side set between straight channels. At the end of the diamonds the mounting comes to a slightly point with a slightly knife edged band. Circa 1920s - 1930s.

The inside retains a partial hand engraved personal inscription in a script. It reads D. O. 1996.

Diamonds: centre old European cut diamond, measuring approx 5.21 mm to 5.25 mm and calculated in setting as 0.56 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity. Six single cut diamonds total approx 0.06 carats. Estimated total carat weight is approx 0.62 estimated as setting permits.

Stamped PLATINUM, this ring is tested and assessed as platinum.
