Antique Victorian 9 carat gold fancy link long guard chain. This chain is formed of rolo shaped links, each formed as four gold circled together. The pattern is simple, unfussy but detailed, and attractive. Both ends of this chain are connected to a dog clip allowing a pendant, locket or ring with charms to be hung. Dates to the late Victorian era, circa 1860s - 1880s, British in origin.

Marked with a 9ct on the ring of the dog clip; tested as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures 146 cm / 57.5 inches and is approx 2.7mm wide.
