Lovely pair of antique yellow gold earrings. These articulated dangle earrings combine spheres of bright polished gold with textured, engraved section providing a great contrast! The pierced ear wire has a small sphere at the bottom from which a cone shaped exquisitely engraved design section hangs from. A further larger sphere shape swings freely from the bottom. These earrings date to around the mid Victorian era, circa 1870s. Likely European in origin.

Not marked, tested as high carat, 15 carat gold.

Measure approx 3.68 cm / 1.45 inches long and are 8.55 mm wide at widest point.

Weighs 3.85 grams.
