Antique five stone alternating sapphire and diamond ring dating to the around the turn of the 20th century. The sapphires and diamonds are bead set into a white gold top. The gemstones are graduated in size, tapering down the finger in a boat style shape. The alternating design is very fetching and the contrast highlights the colour of the gemstones. The tapered top meets the domed D shape profile shank. Circa 1900, British in origin.
Sapphires: 3, bright blue, round cut, centre measures approx 2.9 mm ad sides 1.5 mm.
Diamonds: 2, old cut, approx 0.06 carats together.
Stamped 18ct, tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
Size: UK - P 1/2; US - 8; EU - 18. This ring has been resized larger in the past and the resizing lines can be on the back under close inspection. This ring can be sized down to L.5 / 6 and up to T.5 / 9.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 4 mm and gemstones are 13.85 mm across the finger, and rises 2.35 mm tall off the finger.
