Antique long gold filled guard chain. This chain is design as long trombone style links connected together with a set of three shorter rounded links. The terminating links are each connected to a dog clip which swivels. This chain is long enough to wear doubled or tripled around the neck and is strong enough to hold a pendant or locket. Circa late 19th century.

Not marked, tested as gold filled.

Measures 142 cm / 56 inches long, and is approx 2.7 mm wide.

Weighs 14.7 grams.
