Garnet and diamond three stone engagement ring. Set in the centre is a lovely purplish red coloured garnet. Flanking the garnet are old cut diamonds. Each of the three stones are set into a bezel setting which is outlined in the prettiest, daintiest, finest milgrain which is still in great condition after all these years! The shank of this ring tapers to a narrow point at the gemstones and widens at the back into a D shape profile. Circa 1900, British in origin.

Garnet: 1, round cut, approx 3 mm.

Diamonds: 2, old mine cut, approx 0.05 carats together.

Stamps worn, barely legible. Tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the bezel edges in platinum.

Size: UK - J; US - 5; EU - 15.3. This ring is not recommended for sizing smaller, it can be sized up to O / 7.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 3.92 mm by 10 mm across and stands 3.75 mm tall off the finger.
