Antique double headed snake ring. Two snakes, one in 18 carat yellow gold and the other in platinum, are coiled around each other, heads resting on the other's body. The snakes are matched in design with the cutest little faces. The eyes are engraved and the mouths open. This ring is entirely two-tone all the way through to the back, with the two bands soldered together under the heads and at the back centre. This is a nice, solid heavy ring. Circa late 19th century, British in origin.

Stamped 18ct with a maker's mark. The yellow metal is professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold and the white metal as platinum.
