Antique amethyst pendant design as a spider. Two amethyst gemstones form the cephalothorax and abdomen. Gold wires form the eight legs and palp to create a spider look. The legs are attached to the gold outer frame of this pendant. We love bugs and this creepy crawly is just our thing! The gold of the pendant is a pale rose in colour and we've attached this Edwardian era pendant to a modern 9 carat rose gold chain so that it can be worn immediately. Pendant is circa mid 1900 to 1910, British in origin. Chain is modern.

Amethyst: 2 total. One is approx 5.2 mm and one is approx 3.3 mm. The smaller one has a chip on the crown which can be seen under magnification.

Pendant marked 9c for 9 carat gold. Chain marked 375 for 9 carat gold.
