Beautiful antique 9 carat gold fancy link chain. Pretty oval shape links are accented with little sets of figure 8s connecting the sides. Between each of these long links are shorter trace chain style links. The detail on this chain makes it decorative enough to wear alone and it would look equally good layered with other chains or with a pendant. It's a lovely link which is visually interesting. This chain secures with a barrel clasp. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Stamped 9ct on a tag near the clasp, tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures approx 40 cm / 15.75 inches, and approx 2.87mm at the widest point.

Weighs 4.5 grams.
