Heavy antique 9 carat gold fancy link chain. Pretty oval shape links are accented with little sets of double figure 8s connecting the sides. Between each of these long links are shorter knot shaped links. The detail on this chain makes it decorative enough to wear alone and it would look equally good layered with other chains or with a large pendant. It's a lovely link which is tactile. One ends attaches to a spring bolt clasp and the other to a jump ring. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Stamped 9ct on a tag near the clasp, tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures 53.5 cm / 21 inches long, and approx 3.75 mm at the widest point.

Weighs 12.75 grams.
