Antique MIZPAH ring dating to the late Victorian era. This ring has been crafted in 18 carat gold. Mizpah means the Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another. The sentiment was popular during the Victorian era with rings and other items of jewellery exchanges between lovers. This ring is wide, like a wedding band, with the words MIZPAH raised across the front. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1888.
